Positive displacement blowers

RKR positive displacement blowers are suitable for entirely oil-free conveyance of air and nitrogen, and with special stage and unit designs also of landfill gas, digester gas, mine gas, process gases, exhaust vapours etc.

Our positive displacement blowers are used in industry, in power plants, in sewage treatment plants, in the food industry, in test stand technology, in pneumatic conveying processes and in the compression of gases in the chemical industry.

Method of operation

A defined volume is enclosed between the rotary pistons and housing and conveyed from the intake side to the pressure side. This method ensures that the positive displacement blower adapts to the actual operating pressures in the system. The volume flow changes only slightly in response to counter pressures. The control gears ensure that the movement of the rotary pistons is contactless. The blowers with three-winged rotors have two channels cast into the housing, which control the return of the medium into the conveying chamber in such a way that pulsation is eliminated to the greatest extent possible through interference. An easily designed absorption silencer is sufficient to suppress the piping. The impact on subsequent piping is significantly reduced.
