40 years of RKR: value proposition with new brand presence

A lot of new things, but also old tried and tested products – that is what testified to Rinteln-based RKR Gebläse und Verdichter GmbH’s great performance in 2017. To mark the company’s 40th anniversary, the company headed by Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Lothar Stoll and Managing Partner Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Klaus-Hasso Heller presented its new brand presence with the value proposition: “We see the big picture!” – “Enjoy being understood!”. The new year also promises to build on previous success, with innovative ideas and investments in new structures as well as location expansion.

“The dialogue with our customers and the holistic understanding of their requirements are our top priority”, explains Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Lothar Stoll. This holistic customer focus has become the driving force in the anniversary year of 2017 to create a new brand presence with performance building blocks and the brand statement “We see the big picture!” – “Enjoy being understood!”.

With the revamped web presence, optimised in terms of content and responsiveness and boasting the new corporate design, visitors to the RKR website now have the opportunity to get information even more expediently. The company presented itself in its new look for the first time at Powtech in Nuremberg, the world’s leading trade fair for mechanical process technology, analytics, and the handling of powder and bulk materials. RKR was also able to shine with its new look at the previous anniversary celebration, with over 200 invited guests from Germany and abroad.

As the internationally acting specialist in the development and manufacture of blower and compressor systems for oil-free gas extraction, Rinteln-based RKR is also in good shape in terms of business figures: 2017 marked a delivery of 36 machines – the biggest project in the company’s history. In figures: a medium-sized company with 74 employees, the manufacturer achieved an annual turnover of 24.6 million euros. RKR was thus able to almost double its turnover in the past six years. “This shows us that we are on the right path”, says Managing Director Stoll. “We don't want to rest on our laurels”, he added.

With in-house projects in the field of IT, process optimisation, and quality assurance as well as training measures for employees, management is ensuring progressive expansion measures. Further investments in particular in the company’s internal infrastructure and in the Rinteln location are planned and demonstrate the company’s connection with the region. For 2018, the company has set the goal of publicising and reinforcing the new brand orientation. For this purpose, RKR plans to appear at Achema, the global forum and leading international trade fair for the process industry, from 11 to 15 June 2018 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
